Who Is The Best Choice?

Choose FlyDragon if you want to be the agent ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google's AI Overviews recommend, on the website you already have, with market exclusivity starting from $799 a month on a 6-month minimum contract.

But choose BulletProof if you want a website, CRM, and Google Business Profile management from one supplier and you're comfortable with a fixed 12-month term that auto-renews, a website that goes offline if you leave, and exclusivity listed only on its $3,999-a-month plan.

FlyDragon vs BulletProof: Head-to-Head Comparison

Eight things decide whether either company is right for you. Each one ends with which company comes out ahead.

01

Getting Recommended by ChatGPT and AI Search

AI visibility is all FlyDragon does. FlyDragon has over 13 years of experience in traditional SEO, and its co-founders were leading AI SEO through ChatGPT as soon as ChatGPT web search became available. It works with 200+ agents, most of whom saw 10-20x ROI from the AI SEO work FlyDragon does.

At BulletProof, AI search is one layer of a much larger bundle. The entry plan lists an "AI Search Foundation" next to Google visibility, reviews, a CRM and coaching.1 This is great for agents who genuinely need 'business coaching' with AI SEO support.

There isn't much on BulletProof's website that suggests they are an AI SEO specialist specifically for real estate agents. It appears AI SEO recommendations are an addition to a wide array of services already on offer.

EdgeFlyDragonAI SEO is the whole service, not one layer of a bundle.

02

Google Business Profile and the Map Pack

This is BulletProof's strongest area. Every plan includes Google Business Profile optimization and a weekly review system, backed by a guarantee that your profile reaches page one for a local search like "Realtor in [your city]" within 12 months.

But as with any guarantee, agents should read the conditions before they count on it. The guarantee is void if you cancel, fall behind on payments, miss required coaching calls for two months in a row, or don't keep up the required review activity. It also doesn't give you any right to a refund or to leave early.2

This makes BulletProof's guarantee less of a guarantee, and more of a stipulation. How does an agent guarantee a review count? This seems like an unfair proposition and, from BulletProof's website, we do not have any proof that this has happened yet for any agents in any major cities or metros.

However, FlyDragon doesn't currently include Google My Business (or Google Business Profiles) in their offering. So, we would say BulletProof is stronger in this offering.

EdgeBulletProof

03

Websites and Who Owns Them

FlyDragon works on any website. FlyDragon's promise has always been to avoid tying agents to one CMS so they get the service they deserve. As such, any content they produce or press release placements they secure remain with the agent even after they cancel.

In addition, AI has made websites cheap and efficient to create. FlyDragon has an in-house website offering for agents who (a) can't afford a new expensive website, (b) only have a brokerage subdomain (i.e., yourname.century21.com), or (c) want to migrate away from their current CMS provider and don't want any downtime whilst they transition.

Any real estate agent being tied into an expensive monthly plan with the 'perk' being a CMS isn't really benefiting. The vendor is.

BulletProof's IDX website comes with the Pro plan and above. It's built on BulletProof's proprietary platform, can't be moved to another host, and goes offline if you cancel. This is the same issue real estate agents have had with most service providers for the last decade. The 'who owns my content' question is one we get at FlyDragon almost daily.

BulletProof's entry plan, Flagship ($399/mo), doesn't include a website at all. Its visibility work happens off your site, across business profiles, backlinks, Google Business Profile and reviews, and BulletProof points agents who want "your own site carrying that traffic" to Pro.1 So the CMS tie-in starts at $999 a month.

EdgeFlyDragon

04

Contract Length and Cancellation

FlyDragon has a 6-month minimum. BulletProof only sells fixed 12-month terms, which renew automatically for another 12 months unless you send written notice at least 30 days before the term ends.2

If an agent leaves early, you must pay all remaining payments for the term immediately, which doesn't work in favor of the agent when commissions are so unpredictable and markets can be unstable.

Contract terms side by side
TermFlyDragonBulletProof
Minimum6 months12 months
Shorter optionOne-off, 3-month projectNone
RenewalAgent can renew for 6 months or 12 months; no automated renewalsAutomatic, 12 more months
RefundsNo refundsNone, under any circumstances

FlyDragon doesn't offer month-to-month contracts, and that's deliberate. AI visibility builds over quarters, and a company planning your visibility month to month isn't planning for your market.

And FlyDragon asks for half the commitment BulletProof does. AI visibility takes time to compound into results; however, the average agent we work with sees an immediate uplift in AI search within the first 30-45 days. This, of course, depends on a number of factors, which we'd tell you upfront before signing any contracts.

EdgeFlyDragonHalf the minimum term, and no automatic 12-month renewal.

05

Market Exclusivity

FlyDragon works with one agent per market on every plan, starting at $799 a month. BulletProof's pricing table lists exclusivity only on Platinum, at $3,999 a month.1 Its pricing FAQ also says it takes one agent per market, so if you're on Flagship, Pro, or Premium, get that in writing before you sign.

EdgeFlyDragonOffers market exclusivity to agents no matter what level of service you buy.

06

Training and Coaching

BulletProof runs three live coaching calls a week and partners with Watson Powers Coaching.3 Attending the required calls is also a condition of its Google Business Profile guarantee.2 I can see the benefit of this for smaller teams and solo agents.

Accountability is a big part of growing any type of business. BulletProof offering this as part of their service is a huge bonus to any agent who needs it. The only potential drawback is that it's part of a larger stipulation, i.e., 'if you don't attend the calls, your guarantee doesn't stand'.

The partnership with Watson Powers Coaching isn't clear, either. BulletProof doesn't state whether the two brands cross-promote or cross-sell. We haven't been in the coaching calls, so we can't speculate; however, it would be worth an agent's time to check that this isn't a pitch call and is designed to answer specific AI SEO questions (because that's what an agent is paying for).

FlyDragon runs training webinars twice a month on AI SEO and AI search strategies. Each one teaches something you can use that week: handling the leads AI search sends you, AI SEO, the AI tools worth your time, and what changed in the algorithms and how we're protecting you.

These aren't coaching calls. They're training calls. FlyDragon will show you what works, what else you can be doing in your business to maximize your AI SEO return, but none of the calls are mandatory.

EdgeNo clear winnerDepends on the agent and their business.

07

CRM and Lead Follow-Up

BulletProof includes its own CRM on every plan, with missed-call text-back and four automated workflows: saved-search emails, birthdays, home anniversaries, and recent sales nearby.5

This, again, is a great feature for any agent who needs an alternative to Follow Up Boss or Lofty.

FlyDragon doesn't sell a CRM because our focus is AI SEO to get agents calls and listing appointments from ChatGPT, Google, Gemini, etc. How you as an agent handle those calls shouldn't be dictated by us.

EdgeBulletProofIf you don't have a CRM. If you run one you like, it doesn't matter.

08

Proof and Results for AI SEO

FlyDragon clients have sold more than $100M in homes. Our case studies9 are filmed and unscripted, with the agent describing what changed in their own words.

"I closed $2,500,000 in production this week from business generated using this service."

Jay Marks, Jay Marks Real Estate, FlyDragon client

BulletProof shares individual client stories on its site, such as an agent ranking first on Google for "Realtor in Dallas".4 It doesn't publish a total for client sales or listings secured for their agents.

EdgeFlyDragon$100M+ in homes sold, validated on camera by their agents.

The biggest difference

Who Is The Right Choice Between FlyDragon and BulletProof?

The two companies differ significantly. It might not appear so at first glance, but FlyDragon is a thoroughbred AI SEO agency for real estate agents only. It isn't another all-in-one service with AI SEO added on.

Why a Bundled Website Looks Like the Safer Choice

Having a website bundled in with other services looks like a better deal. But it isn't. When a real estate agent is looking for AEO, GEO, or AI SEO, that's what they should pay for. A bundled package is safer for the vendor, not the agent.

What Happens to a BulletProof Website When You Cancel

BulletProof's terms are clear about this.2 Here are the four clauses, summarized from their terms:

BulletProof Terms §10.1

Who owns what

You own your domain and the content you supplied: your text, photos and branding. The design, structure, code, and backend stay BulletProof's property.

BulletProof Terms §10.2

Moving the site

The site can't be exported, transferred, or hosted anywhere else in working form, and you don't get backend access.

BulletProof Terms §10.3

Cancelling

The site is taken offline. To stay online, you rebuild from scratch somewhere else.

BulletProof Terms §3.2–3.4

Timing

The term is a fixed 12 months and renews automatically. Miss the 30-day notice window and you're in for another year. If you leave early, you owe the rest of the year.

What leaving looks like with each company
BulletProof
  1. Month 11Send written notice at least 30 days before the term ends
  2. Month 12The term ends. Miss the notice, and it renews for 12 more months
  3. Day afterYour website goes offline. Rebuild elsewhere
FlyDragon
  1. Month 6Your minimum term ends
  2. You decideStay because it's working, or leave
  3. Day afterYour site, domain, and content stay live, and stay yours

Put those together, and the website becomes the reason agents renew. Canceling ends the service and takes down the site your search visibility was built on.

Why Real Estate Keeps Getting Stuck Here

Agents have been trapped by platform websites for years: IDX vendors, brokerage templates, all-in-one systems. Each one works until you want to leave, and then the rankings, pages, and traffic plummet.

It's common enough that website vendors publish guides weighing "SaaS vs. owning your site".10 After working with more than 200 agents, the most consistent thing we hear is that they don't want to be forced onto a new CMS just to get a service.

Why FlyDragon Works on Any Website

FlyDragon was built CMS-agnostic on purpose. We work on WordPress, a vendor-built site, a brokerage profile, or whatever else you run today. If you don't have a website, we build one for you, free, and it's yours at the end of your 6-month term.

If you leave FlyDragon, your own site, domain, and content stay exactly where they are. If we built your site, it stays live and becomes yours once you complete the 6-month term. Cancel early, and FlyDragon keeps the domain. This is the biggest benefit for an agent who doesn't want to keep running into recurring expenses every time you look for a new provider.

Questions to Ask Any Company Before It Hosts Your Website

  1. Who owns the design, code, and structure of the site, and is that in writing?
  2. Can I export the site and host it somewhere else if I leave?
  3. What happens to the site, and its search rankings, the day I cancel?
  4. Is the term fixed, does it auto-renew, and how much notice do I need to give?
  5. Does my visibility depend on staying on your platform?
